I want a Keyboard Case!

Dr.SteveB

Newbie
I have been longtime serial user of the Motoorola Droid keyboard slider models, and just switched over to Note 2. I love the size, since I also use it as a reading device, which is why I got it. But I miss the physical keyboard, since I also use it to write a lot, and find the virtual keyboard, even in landscapre problematic.

Searching found a couple of Note 1 keyboard cases. That is a clamshell case with one side holding the phone and the other side holding a mini-keyboard linking by bluetooth.

None yet for Note 2, which has just different enough external size and cutout that I think the Note 1 cases wont fit. Anybody heard of such a case available or coming for Note 2?

Thanks in advance.

Though I don't think I'll be buying a keyboard case, it's always nice to have many accessories for our phone.

Sent using the force.

I would recommend something like this. You have basically a full size but compact keyboard and it doesn't get attached to your phone at all. So the keyboard can be used when you're traveling or at home without being with your phone all the time.

I wasn't even considering keyboard, up until I read this post and saw this link. What a great idea, BT keyboard with case that turns into a stand. Do you have one? Just wondering how is navigation without a mouse? Can you recommend any similar ones with a mouse? Being a huge ThinkPad fanboy, I also found for abouit $50 ThinkPad usb keyboard with a trackpoint. But its so bulky and obviously doesn't have a stand. Would be nice to have a slim solution like that Logitech with a mouse, unless this Logitech keyboard has some navigation keys like a mouse?

Do you have one?

before I got the Note II I was thinking about getting a BT keyboard, so did a lot of research and this one and the one mentioned above by Motorola are the better ones. They both have dedicated Android keys.

You can also add a BT mouse to it. If you want a touchpad on your keyboard it will add a lot to the size. also with the phone sitting right in front of you can just touch the screen and ignore the need for a mouse.

But having a mouse is so much better.
I used to have the Logitech Bluetooth (White) until I lost it......don't ask how; couldn't tell you.
