Root I want a new dock

I really really hate the dock on Eclair, which is what I have. I want to change to froyo, but I am an Insurance Inspector and I take a lot of pictures with my cell phone. SO, is there anything that I can just flash to change the dock or do I have to run a homescreen program, like ADW or Home Launcher? Currently I run Velocity 0.4.

ADW and LauncherPro are both good, and both have different docks. or try others. stock froyo isn't that much different that eclair.

I believe savoxis.com has a Gingerbread launcher for download.

So you're more willing to flash stuff like this rather than simply download LP or ADW from the Market?

I personally like Launcher Pro. It is very customizable and it doesn't make my phone lag at all.
