Its released read the sticky that says how to force update to 2.2

Noway, I tried a force update on my LG Ally last week and bricked out. I will wait. That's why I have a droid now, I like it allot better.

I pulled this off of the Verizon website.

"The froyo update starts releaing over the air (OTA) on Aug 3rd and will continue to all motorola droids until Aug 13th. It's to make sure that we don't overload their network with download requests for the os and they can operate business as usual."

So just keep waiting til you get the OTA update.
