Root I want to wipe everything, than go back to cm7

My CM7 inc has been real buggy recently and not very fast. I want to wipe if completely and start over. I still want CM7 in the end and i intend to keep s-off.

This is what I did, but i feel i'm missing something.

- i formatted my SD Card
- cwm5 - Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik

After i did that, i rebooted and CM7 was still there. I didnt expect that. I was expecting to get some error message from the lack of a ROM.

Should I format emmc, system, boot or any of those through CWM?

I would reflash CM7. Download the zip file to the sd card, and install it from clockwork.

If you want to be extra careful, you could flash to something else (stock 2.2, for example) and then flash to CM7.
