i was rooted

After updating firmware in kies to KI4

im now not rooted and also i made a back up through an app cwm ii think which has gone

how do i restore
 
i just flashed kg5
i do not know what i am doing at all

please can somebody try to untaggle this mess

i think ive got all different things going on

i feel like just bouncing it off the wall

IT WAS ROOTED BUT KIES UPDATED IT AND SINCE
the root has gone

now when i try to flash cf root this doesnt work it says failed

ive done the first part
now im flashing the cf root

but i think its fell asleep or something
if i unplug it at this stage will it brick
 
instructions on xda - basically you need to download the KI3 secure kernel, extract the zzimage file, add it to you cards memory, and flash it from CWM

personally i don't bother. wear your yellow triangle badge with pride!
 
i dont like the way i get a blue effect when i scroll as far left or right as it will go

and the power saver buttons for wifi bluetooth brightness n so on is gone funny i cant shrink it
 
this is a new feature of 2.3.5

if you don't like it, unfortunately you'd need to either go back to previous version, or experiment with custom roms/themes.
 
i use go launcher

i just got the future theme.apk how do i apply it when i click theme it takes me to go themes place and if i click the future one it asks me to buy it

can i use it or not
 
sorry, cant help, know nuffink about go launcher - tried it twice on 2 different firmwares and each time got massive lag and screen freezes

Go to my files and find the apk. Then select this to instal it. Now when you go to themes in your go launcher menu it will be available. Don't know if games are lagging because of go launcher, I use it and haven't had any problems. Its more likely to be kernel or firmware related.

Ignore that second bit, since you're on the most recent firmware that's probably not the reason. Am I right in thinking gangstar is an online game? Out could be your data connection causing problems.
