I'm getting the Sprint LG Optimus G and flashing it to Boost Mobile. I'm beyond excited. Especially because I think I might have found a flaw to get 4G LTE working over there with the phone being flashed. Plus Boost with Shrinkage and this phone (True IPS+ Gorilla Glass 4.7in display, 13MP camera, 1.5 gHz quad core processor, 32 gb internal memory, 2 gb RAM, etc.)

I'm already in love with this phone and it's not even here yet. Just it's specs look amazing and after I root, unlock and install a custom ROM this baby will be a work of art. I got it for $150, that's a STEAL. Then putting it on Boost on top of that! BABY. Haha. I'm excited.

Good luck and enjoy your new phone!

I would've just bought the GSM version, flashing CDMA phones to CDMA carriers is a pain.

i think it even more difficult now also the lte phones i was told on Virgin have a sim for the lte band yet the phone is CDMA

so iam not sure the process of that yes itll be a sprint phone but iam guessing theyll have like certain diffrences in the sims for the LTE iam hoping u dont end up having to buy 2 phones that are lte if thats even a possiability i know nothing about flashing though just sounds rough

I'm just gonna stick with the 3G CDMA, I don't even get LTE where I live or where I go to college with Sprint so regardless it doesn't matter. I can't afford the AT&T prepaid with LTE. Otherwise I would go with the GSM version of this phone.

Not to be a crapper either but if boost doesn't have phone u may when installing customs ROMs find yourself with MMS issues unless they have fixes for that, id look into it more deeply first, LG isn't open like htc or samsung with bootloaders just sounds like alot of what ifs but wanted to save ya some pain if i could by saying something, gsm probably is your best bet
