Help i5500 stuck !!!!!

I am obviously over excited with my new phone and now I HAVE DONE A STUPID THING

I flashed my UK i5500 to the USA froyo (i5500L)... everything worked fine.. then I decided to root my device

I saw that the universal androot support i5500... so I downloaded it and run it without reading anything.....

so I ran the apk from the sd card... it installed... but I dont know if it is installed to my phone or my sd card.... i started rooting at 3:08 am ..... it is not 3:46am and is still on the rooting screen...... it is stuck...... ( i just pressed Go Root) ...I havent done anything with other app

i will plug my device to the charger b4 any help comes up. PLEASE HELP .... I know I have done something stupid......... plz help

as none of the buttons are responsive..... i risked everything and pulled the battery (another stupid thing)... but luckily now it is working fine !!!

HERE I ADVISE ALL NEW PHONE OWNER DON'T DO ANYTHING YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT....THIS IS A GREAT PHONE.....
