Help I7500 drivers for New PC Studio

i've been trying to connect my galaxy to NPS for ages.
tried probably any solution people suggested in this forum.
but still when i connect my galaxy with usb debugging on - windows can't find any drivers!
i thought maybe it's because there's no firmware support to my region so i tried installing NPS as if from Italy Or Germany - didn't work either.

can anyone send me the necessary drivers? can't find them anywhere on the web.
it shouldn't be a problem, they suppose to be under C:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung New PC Studio\USB Drivers.

Is that folder missing for you? Or does windows just not find the drivers in there? There are sub folder 1,2,3,4 etc you might need to point windows to each one turn by turn.

tried each of those directories, windows couldn't find the drivers in any of them.

i wrote an e-mail to my provider's tech support. hope they'll help :/

What OS do you have?

Did any of the drivers install? Remember in debug you'll have one which wont install. Thats the adb driver and you can ignore it.

Does PC suite show your i7500 when you plug it in?

i'm using XP.

i followed your instructions:
installed NPS.
connected my phone in debug mode.
-windows showing alert that drivers for device are not installed-
when installing drivers i chose every directory under USB Drivers (one after the other), and in each of them windows couldn't find the necessary drivers.

my baseband version is I7500JIIGC. It's different from all of yours i guess because my provider is Cellcom from Israel...

oh, and NPS shows my phone but with an "unsupported device" when i try updating.

Yeah so it has installed the drivers corectly. The one its not finding is the adb one. If you turn debug back off, that missing driver will dissapear.

There's my instructions to install the adb driver (in another thread) if you want to use adb. If you don't know what it is, then dont bother :)

The unsupported device is a problem with the PC studio it only recognises the FF firmware. We all have this same problem :(

Keep moaning to your provider so samsung are forced to fix it quickly :)

hopefully they'll answer soon...
thanks for everything kam!

btw, have you guys noticed that on the official global samsung site there's not a single mention of the samsung galaxy? weird...

Hi, I had the same problem for a months.
Today I found in this forum the correct drivers that are 100% working with my Samsung Galaxy GT-I7500 phone.

http://www.yardimage.co.uk/files/i7500/samsungADB.zip

Use the standard Windows procedures to install (see link):

USB Driver for Windows | Android Developers

Provider is not related to the problem (I also have Cellcom Israel)
I think it is up to Samsung and to Google to provide working drivers for all phones running Android OS.

Thanks to Rastaman-FB

please read the faq, nps does not deal with file transfer on android.
nps is only good for updates
to do file transfer, connect the device to the pc and then on the device pull down the notification bar at the top, select usb and click mount

you should then see the drives as removable hardrives on my computer

you cant

synch your old phone with outlook
save contacts to a csv and upload contacts to gmail. it will then sync with the device

there are also some vcf converters about for android and pc.
vcf - Cyrket
