Hello . I have recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100-P (The one with near field communication) and i have a few problems regarding it :
First of all , overheating . I have quite big overheating problems when i use my phone for 30 - 45 minutes at a time . I know it is a common problem at S2's but i heard that it can be solved by installing a custom software on it
The second problem is actually a question : Is it worth updating to ICS?.I went to a GSM Service and a man from there told me that i shouldn't upgrade to ICS because at the moment it's very risky and i could brick my phone(ok i understand that it's only an alpha) . OK then he told me to pay him 10 bucks and he would upgrade it to 2.3.6 (from 2.3.4) so this way i would see the "Huge Difference" he said . I saw nothing
Now , I really want to update my phone to a custom firmware or i dont know how is it called because as far as i know : it improves the phones performances , increases the battery life and so on
My only concern is that my phone is or is not an international model.
