Root Icarus mod minimal green theme?

So basically i really like that black and green theme that you get when you install icarus 1.1 so i was wondering if there's a way i can install that specific theme on to my ascend? Im running playful mod(froyo 2.2.2) and so far ive had no luck.

Things i've tried: adb shell(could never get it to work), replacing the framework-res.apk with root explorer(got me stuck at bootloop)

I've never used icarus but if you flash cm7 there are tons of themes for the theme chooser i'm sure you could find one that you like

But yeah that's the thing. I dont want to use cm6 or cm7. I get way too many duplicate texts and it really annoys me so i just decided to stay on stock.
