Ice Cream Sandwich OTA on my Transformer?

I thought I read somewhere that ASUS came out and said they'd have the update on the Transformer by the end of the year. As other posters have pointed out, ASUS has been really good about releasing firmware updates and since they are about to release the Prime with ICS on it, it really shouldn't be too hard to port it to the original.

I'm pretty sure a recent press release about the Prime also mentioned ICS for the TF101 in December

For those of you looking for total clarification as to whether the 1st gen ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 will get the Ice Cream Sandwich OS update, it is confirmed on the ASUS website. It is now being advertised as Android 3.2 Honeycomb O.S.(4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable).

I know but people are still asking and if they haven't noticed it on the ASUS website it's really difficult to find solid proof that it will be updated Every search seems to come up with information about the Transformer Prime just posted in case anyone else is looking for this info and hadn't found it yet.

Someone asked ASUS US about the Google approval process and got an answer.

It's gone from early February to Mid February. Oh well, might have to wait an additional 7 to 10 days.

I'm starting to lose faith in Asus because of this huge delay all of a sudden.. Still better than the rest though.

Compared to some, Asus seem ok. My mate's just getting the 3.2.1 update on his Galaxy Tab so who knows how long it will take him to get ICS!
