Root Ice Cream Sandwich root

Newbie
Does anyone know how to root the G 300 with the official Vodafone version of ICS? I know how to do it with Gingerbread but cannot find out how to do it with Android 4.0.

I had a look at both links but I believe they are just for the general firmwares and Gingerbread. I'd better not go ahead and try just yet in case it kills my phone :(
 
Like I said, I don't know about your phone so I'm not familiar with the versions but at the end of the guide on the second link it says this:
Wait for it to do its job, once done reboot again and you now have a Stock Rooted and Bootloader unlocked ICS phone.

So easy. I downloaded and installed the G300 USB drivers then downloaded and ran the rooting exe. Took a few seconds and hey presto. Phone rebooted and was rooted.

I installed AnTek App Manager and gleefully deleted all the bloatware and Facebook and Twitter apps. My G 300 is now completely bloarware free. Yipee.
