Ice Cream Sandwich?

I'm curious who here thinks the X2 will eventually see an Android Ice Cream Sandwich release? I think it's almost a certainty that it will get the Gingerbread update, but what about the next major release? If I had a high degree of confidence in this it would do a lot to convince me I can overlook the locked bootloader.

Thoughts?
 
I think it will. And i think you will find most senior and above members here think the same.

When tho?...i say no earlier than the first of 2012
 
What are the odds that ANY currently available device will see Ice Cream Sandwich? If anything currently available has the specs, I would think the DX2 would qualify with it's dual core. All it lacks that any other current device offers is 4G and 256 MB more RAM.
 
So the OGX launched with eclair. Then got froyo soon after and now GB. I think there is a good chance that the X2 will see ice cream. But right now we don't know the spec requirements so it's all just blind speculation.

I would hope a phone just released would get gingerbread....considering froyo doesn't properly utilize dual core cpus

I doubt the x2 gets ice cream sandwich officially. It wont be out till end of year and most manufacturers wont have it out till mid next year.

I bet they say it doeany have the hardware to run it. I would wager a ton that nods will get it on the x2 though.
