Icon Notifications

[Decapnation]

Hey Guys just a quick question.

Some app icons have the ability to add a notification on the icon to display there is something waiting..

The only way I get notifications is in the top bar. But what If i see it and get rid of it. I tend to forget that I had a email or text, and it would be nice to have a +1 on my email or messaging Icons.

My question is "is there a way to have notifications come up on your top bar as well as a +1 etc.. on the icon itself?"

But those won't work if your Gmail shortcut is in the launcher shortcuts only if you have the icon on the homepage itself right?

Haven't used them in a while, but I believe you are correct. It only works if the icon is on your homescreen, not in the app drawer.
