I currently have a VZW GS3 and don't have any complaints except wishing it was a bit bigger. I'm in a position to get a VZW Note II so I went to play with one in the store. I've seen the videos but I've never actually held one. All of the VZW stores don't have it on display so I went to ATT. As soon as I picked it up something just felt off. The icons at the top didn't seem crisp at all and they seemed to be HUGE...cartoon like. I put both devices on full brightness to be sure I wasn't being fooled by that. The one thing I love about my GS3 is the crispness of the screen so the lack of this on the Note II clearly stuck out to me. My icons on S3 seem to be perfect size and clear. Next thing was video time. I pulled up youtube to watch the Planet Earth 1080p video. I did a side by side comparison and the GS3 just seemed way more clear and sharp with the image. The Note II seemed stretched and blurry. I did verify the check box inside the youtube settings to play high res was checked. What am I missing here...does the VZW have better specs or is it the same exact phone. I really wanted to be blown away but I wasn't...change my mind.
