Help Icons be disappearing

I'm using Launcher pro, and at random times, I go to the home screen to see all the icons missing. The dock's still there, but yeah. Only way to fix this would be to restart Launcher Pro, after which I'll have to wait around 30 seconds to even a minute at time for everything to come back. Is there some fix to this/maybe better alternative for launcher/quicker way to get the icons back...?

I'm using the Fascinate and my icons disappear and go 'default' android icons. But, only for stuff i've downloaded. Any help.
