The zip has the template, but not the font. I can't include the font, sorry, it's a commercial font.

The closest font that I came to that looks similar or still looks very nice is called Agency AB. Here's a screen shot of the font being used on my phone:

these are great - I snagged a few for my phone ;-). I was wondering if you could make one that says 'light' or flashlight' or something along those lines for all the flashlight programs, along with one that says 'delete' or 'history' or 'bye-bye' for the history eraser program. And perhaps a 'schedule' or 'planner' one for those of us with daily planners?

Either way - GREAT work! I'm impressed with all of your stuff!

exactly what font did you use? i dont have photoshop so im using paint.net and doing it from scratch. i have the Neutra font, and looked at neutratext tf book which looked the closest. and if you could post what other effects youre using that would be insanely helpful

EDIT: failing that, some helpful icons would be Net Counter (cntr), Profiles (prfl), Solitaire (soli), Uninstaller (unstl), and unblock (unblk)

I've had several requests for the text icons on my phone, so I've decided to make them available for download for everyone. There is a PSD in the zip, so you can make your own if you like... but if you have suggestions for me to add, let me know.

You can add these icons to LauncherPro, or to your desktop by using Desktop Visualizer. Enjoy!

hey how to show th eunread count in the hone screen like in your case gmail which shows 13.

You can do it when you set up the shortcut icon, or alternatively you can long click on an existing icon and it will give you the option to "change icon". Then navigate to where they are stored. Mine are in the gallery with photos, etc. Hope this helps.

why is it that when i long press an icon, i only get the option to delete it?

Sorry. I was assuming the icons on the dock (all I use). For the regular shortcut, you would have to delete it and when you add it back it will give you the option to change the name and edit the shortcut, which is when you will navigate to where you have your preferred icon stored.

How can I add this if I have Open Home Full? Just got my phone. Sorry, I'm a n00b.

EDIT: Okay, I got the icons to be added, but how do I delete the text under the icons?

Lov-ing it.

Is it possible to get for the flashlight? Probably a lot of options you could do for that.

I really appreciate this thread! It gave me enough pointers to make my own LauncherPro icons using my current system font (Ubuntu), so they match my text clock etc. FWIW, 128X128 works well for the Droid Incredible - they appear onscreen at the same size as if I use 64X64, but they seem a little sharper.

I really like these--thanks. Any chance you could make one for Yahoo! Messenger (msngr or something)? I came close with your psd template, but I couldn't match fonts exactly.

I've created some dock backgrounds that go very well with these icons. Download these and try them on your device, the forums image preview doesn't show what they really look like.

worked for me . I assume you are wanting the text icons ? it's a zip file. check your download folder

Yeah, I've downloaded zip files before with no problem but the link tries to take me to a site that says site not found or similar- does not start a download at all...no big deal, I'm playing around with making my own with a new simple text app.
