Root ICreamS/IColdS bug with Wireless

In my desperation for a new phone, I installed IceColdSandwich on my DHD, but I've noticed a strange bug.

When the battery reaches 'low' (35% I think and I cant find a way of changing this) the wireless stops being able to detect wireless networks, and switches over to mobile network.

If I turn the wireless off and back on again, all the available networks appear, but then disappear and it just lists my saved networks together with "Not in range"

Is this an Icecream or Icecold bug, and has anyone found a way to fix it?

So far I've worked out its not power saving mode (not the one in the ROM Control setting at least), and keeps happening even when on charge, until the battery has more than 35%

I am running IceColdSandwich and have not had this issue... are you on an older version of the ROM?

I only downloaded it a few days ago, so assume its the latest version. 7.4 AOKP

I know in Gingerbread there was a power saving feature that would kick in at a preset battery level (probably 35%), but I cant find that option in ICS.

Also, there was a hidden Wireless menu where you could specify whether wireless was power or performance friendly, but this seems to have been removed

That is the most up to date version... I am using 7.3 myself (just not got round to updating yet.

As for the other things you mention, I've not really looked for them as I've not had an issue with battery life, so haven't felt the need to mess with any settings... actually, on 7.3 at least, I have to say that the battery seems to be as good, if not better, than when I was on CM7 :)

Thats the frustrating thing. I'm happy with the speed the battery drains, but I only get 2g at home, so not having wireless in the evenings (I charge over night) is annoying.

Seems I got it completely wrong, when I realised it would do it at near full charge too.

Turns out it is the power saving settings. When Screen off settings for WiFi is set to anything other than "Leave untouched", it was as if the WiFi was constantly turning itself off because it thought the screen was off.

I'll monitor anyway though.
