Help ICS - activesync not working

the email account gets setup, but no sync

after it trying to sync i get error saying
Your Exchange Server requires that you enable security policies to continue Synchronizing. Would you like to continue?
ok
the screen does a fast flash then its back to the main page

I have reset the phone
encrypted the SD card
setup a PIN

with no luck


this worked before the upgrade

I installed the android update and now only my calendar updates and not photos and videos.
Please can someone advise me: aveldman@bigpond.net.au
