ICS and GB Old bootloader

Is it safe to flash the "old" GB bootloader while on an ICS rom so I can use my download jig to get rid of the triangle at boot up?

yellow triangle during boot up is awesome! it makes youre phone unique to others! i live it mine like that. its cool.

I run the old bootloader along with UK Orange ICS with no problems at all. So go for it!

Im am running checkrom which is 2.3.5. If i flash the old bootloader will it affect my phone or rom in any way?

No the old bootloader will not effect checkrom.
The major differance between the old and the new bootloader is that the new as the extra security the binary counter.

what is a GB Bootloader? is it like odin? i got a fascinate with teamhacksungs cm9 ics rom and want to overclock it and i found the glitch kernel v14 but it says to use a gb bootloader but im not sure what that is.
