DDLP8 4.0.3 is starting to roll out today in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. It's only a matter of time before all of us get updated.

Hahah ya weird timing. As soon as I say no it's not available, the next day it rolls out.

I think I am seeing a pattern of how they are rolling it out....

I have a feeling that next will be areas like Poland, Norway, Finland etc etc....

Atlast it got available now on OTA...319Mb ICS download request..
i guess im the first one to quote this information here. feels good..

I got it around the same time as thekripton in India. Curiously, the update was available on OTA only on one of the wifi links on my campus. I wonder why this happens. So in the morning, I got a 36 MB gingerbread (stability?) update and by evening I when I used the same wifi to check for updates, I got the ICS update. (Note that the update wasn't available from another wifi which I had checked a few seconds earlier.)

Updated to ICS a few days back.....have to say my battery perf has improved a lot......not a single percent down through the whole night with live wallpaper enabled...and the lag with power saving mode is minimal...loving apex launcher and crome......

ya mine was stuck at 68% when i used kies...even after i left it there for a couple of hours...when i checked my phone i found tht ics was installed...in the end i disconncted and till nw there hasnt been any probs...
the install file is 1st downloaded completely onto the phone then only installed....so partial install chance is less

You all need to disable AntiVirus on PC
I had to try 4 times & then got through

If yor updateing with Kies DONT cos can cant Clean Wipe your phone
unless you dont mind that & my phone is not smooth like before, very slugish

If u need to go back to GB u need to root or can use odin to load a firmware from sammobile.com
that site has all the firmwares including GB and ICS

Go to sammobile----firmware---android---phone model no---choose firmware

Figures another third world country gets it before the US does. Guess will be last on the planet to get it.

Excuse me? I do not like what you had to say about my country. Kindly keep your racist comments to your self. If you cant, go find another place to vent.

We come from a nation where we allow a Lady of CathoIic origin to step aside for a Sikh to be sworn in as Prime Minister to a Muslim President to govern
a nation of over 80 percent Hindus.

It may aIso interest you to know that many of the origins to your words come from Sanskrit. For example, maatr becomes mother, bhratr becomes brother,
giamiti becomes geometry, trikonniti becomes trigonometry.

We have 5600 newspapers magazines in over twenty-one different languages
with a combined readership of over 120 million.

We have reached the moon and back, but yet you people still feel that we've only reached as far as the Indian rope trick.

We are the third largest pool in the word of doctors, engineers and scientists.

Maybe your education system hasn't told you this we have the third largest army in the worId.

Most importantly we don't beIieve we are above or beneath any individual.

And you call us a 3rd World Country? THATS rich!

Mods: Do you accept this kind of attitude?
