Help ICS Broke USB HD storage

Since the update to ICS, when I try to browse my WD passport drive or play movies from the drive, my A200 crashes and I have to reboot.

It still plays movies off the external SD card.
The WD HD works fine with my A500 on honeycomb 3.2.1 so it is not the drive.

Anyone else have this problem or suggestions for a fix?

I'm considering purchasing this tablet, with one of the main selling points being the full size USB and plugging in a hard drive. Is this a problem after the ICS update?

I've had no problems at all reading or playing files from 3 different external hard drives (2 of them wd passports) and several flash drives. I've been on stock ics, rooted ics, and now ultrabase rom. No problems. If you have issues try an app called "usb mount all".
