ICS camera app for all Androids

Saw this on Phandroid and was wondering if anybody was interested in trying it on the Mercury. Might be worth a shot for 99

I tried the free version earlier, all the features seem to work correctly on the Mercury and it's nice being able to assign Zoom or AF etc. to the Volume buttons.

It did force close one time when trying to exit and wouldn't load anymore even after clearing cache & data, But it was fine after a reboot, Only happened once so far.

If anything It's worth checking out the free version the only thing missing from Mercury's camera app is the HDR feature.

I'll have to compare the Ultra vs High jpeg settings to see if there's really any improvement, the filesize is certainly larger on Ultra (average 4.7 megs per pic).

I didn't know you could set the volume buttons as zoom. That's enough to make me want to try it. Does the panoramic function work well? The dev says he's working to improve the app, so hopefully he will fix the force closes and such.

The panoramic mode is nice you press the button then slowly rotate, it shows a progress bar as you're turning and if you move to fast it will display "Too fast" onscreen, it doesn't always get the seams right and the quality seems fixed on a lower setting (files end up under 1MB) but its still pretty neat, It takes about 30 seconds to create the image after it's done.

Here's one I did earlier:

That's pretty cool. Is there any difference on videos, or still shots only?

It only works on photos ,the video recording part of the app is pretty basic but it says if you have 4.0 / ICS you'd also get a Video stabilization & Face effects option.
