ICS Feedback

Its been a few weeks since its been rolled out now.

How is everyone getting on?

The battery seems to have settled down now for me to a solid 11-14 hours of decent usage and everything else seems smoother.

Can't take a simple screen shot without the pen though, any tips?

Find everything else a lot smoother although I did do a factory reset.

My note has frozen and looked like a old tv searching for channels twice. The only way for it to recover was a battery pull.

What have you done exactly to settle your battery down

I did a full wipe and only installed 2 or 3 apps like Facebook and Twitter that I use a lot, everything else like Soundcloud or dropbox I go online for.

Find most apps you can get online so haven't bothered cramming up the phone for.

Not sure if it makes a difference or not.

Is there an app that can tell me what app or process is killing my battery?

I have cpu spy and my phone does go into deep sleep

My note has been off the chaager for 5 hours and the battery is on 86% BUT I have barely used the phone, a short call and a few texts only..

i havnt charged my phone since Wednesday and my battery shows 53% ,55minutes of voice calls, checking email twice daily, texting a fair bit, downloaded a couple of app via wifi, using s memo, calendar, s note

I've had ICS for a couple weeks now. I'm torn. There's things I miss and things I like...

Things I miss off the top of my head:
-status bar swipe for brightness control

-home button working consistently to leave apps

-better battery life

-better formatted emails (it's never formatted to fit the screen, I have to move around to see other parts of the email)

-GOSMS showing FB profile pics

-Contacts to/from Dialer transition is slower

-S-Pen screencapture ease (You have to hold it for a long time now, sometimes twice, before it was almost instantaneous)

Things that are better:
-my data connection is much more consistent, I don't have to turn off wifi to 'download' an MMS and I don't have to turn off and turn on data packets to reset and get it to work.

-Swiping individual notifications instead of just clearing all.

-Status Bar graphics and placement of icons

-I suppose the swiping task manager is cooler, I never use/d task manager much though, just let the phone do it's thing as suggested by others.

I use 'Wheres my Droid power' which gives you an indication....
Try that!
Grtz.
