Well if you pull it from your system and upload it to the interwebs my friend it then becomes downloadable. But yes Google is silly for this.

Thanks a lot for uploading it, here in Colombia the main phone operator (Claro) removes GTalk in every android device they sell, instead they install their own messenger app, which in reality uses traditional SMS messages.

This is where Android shines, people don't have to root or jailbreak their device, they just install the app and are good to go.

If you want the app fixed you'll need to take that up with Google.

Try downloading the app all over again, and installing it from scratch... it might help a little.


And if you're looking for a decent videochat app, try Tango. I use it all the time.

Anyone try xabber with this phone? I threw it on my Galaxy Prevail and it absolutely annihilated my battery! I thought my settings were legit but who knows.

Seeing as how our battery life is already dismal I'm afraid to even look at that app in the market without some feedback
