Help ICS pretty much RUINED Swype. Will Swype Beta fix this?

Since I got great responses on a question about music player compatability and ICS on here, I thought I'd try discussing my only other gripe with Android's pretty awesome update. So, here goes:

WTF happened to Swype?

I can't be the only one that felt like Swype got a lot worse after ICS. Not sure if this makes sense but it got... somehow dumber? The suggestions offered for words were so out of wack from what could be considered reasonable that I thought I might have a virus. When I Swype "get" it always changes it to "Getty," because... huh?

Did the predictive text have a stroke?

I've seen a couple posts on here mention Swype Beta, which I included a link to at the bottom of this comment in case anyone hadn't seen it yet. I was just wondering if I could get a review or two on it? Do you think it helped? Hurt? Not even worth a download?

You could just download it and see if you like it. If you don't, uninstall it.
 
I have noticed that swype is getting on my nerves - I usually use it when I am too lazy and want to answer my friends drunk texts with one hand in the middle of the night (it does not happen very often).

The only thing that I suggest that might be able to ease the pain a little is wiping the dictionary of the words you saved - I got a lot because I speak 4 different languages and sometimes too lazy to change keyboards to stock and try that.

Also you should give sweft key 3 a try and end the non-sense - probably the best prediction keyboard most of time time using the ENGLISH keyboard the suggestions are so dead on I don't really need to see what my fingers are pressing and I have to press the spacebar a lot to insert the prediction. I suggest just try it - there is a demo in the google play store and see if you like it. As for the other languages - Bulgarian (native language) the prediction cannot be worse. Just horrible it has no idea what the words mean it seems but I forgive them because it is still in beta. Russian is about half way between English and Bulgarian - it gets some words right and sometimes wrong about half of the time.
