Found this and was wondering if these kernels could be ported to our connect he even supplies his github and everything I'm a not a noob but not an expert when it comes to these things well here's the link

but even at that the Spectrum has a different resolution than our phones so I would have to port our drivers over to that kernel which isn't easiest thing to do.

I would think so I just read up on the lucid forums about cm10 with touch screen working did u know that the viper has a ICS rom that was ported for then justgp Google ICS viper rom
