Root [ICS][ROM] The CeltICS Flashable ROM

We dont have many choices when it comes to dialer and contact, do we?... i have used DW Dialer and Rocket Dialer but both were slow compared to the stock dialer... you take a pick and i am sure everybody will be fine with it... coz u ROCK

Regarding the fact that A75 is a dual sim phone. Its dialer, sms and contacts are slow to begin with. So a faster app for these like GOSMS, etc are out of the question. I tried many but unfortunately all of them lagged unless they were embedded in the RAM directly....i.e, they were always running in the background. So unless that could be done......I think simply theming the stock apks will suffice. Or the styling of the contacts, dialer from Mastermind's Anarchy rom could be infused.....they looked good......if that is possible.:D
 
I have installed silverlight ROM (Which is made for Spice Mi-350n) on my A75.

This ROM is very Smooth, fast and no network issues.....

Modded for A75 here

This dialer is having two separate buttons for dual sim which feels very easy. So can you use this dialer in your rom?

The styling flashable zip provided was tested only in ADP75 v2 ROM. :)

i'll make a flashable zip which will restore ur previous apks...

I think it was the UB-A75-1_v2.. not sure if this is the correct name but its from ninad.. and it has CWM recovery (5.0.2.8):confused::confused::confused: from where i flashed it..

thanks buddy.. for change.. i had taken a backup of it.. and i restored it from recovery.. so its back and working.. ...

as i liked the look & feel of this i tried .. will be good if you can make that and upload....:rolleyes:

Sorry Aayushdutta may be i am going off topic but just for fun and also if this ROM has some potential then can provide the feedback and you can use the whole ROM or some features from it to port in our ICS so please suggest.

Hey Rudrateja can you provide me some more screen shots and haan have you checked everything in the ROM is it working fine as if i had seen somewhere that the camera app has 5mp settings cos of which might be the app gets crashed so did u checked it.

Does the dailer supports video calling as i can see a video icon in the screenshot.

And haan can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... let me know can i install it directly on the STOCK ROM as i have CWM recovery and ROOTED my phone by Superuser.Zip so i am still using the STOCK ROM as i have tried all the ROMS on the forum and now waiting for ICS ROM so till that time can i install this ROM directly on my STOCK ROM or do i need to install ADProgrammer V3 and then only can install it or i need to install all Silverlight V1,V2,V3 and then need to go for this one please suggest as if the ROM looks cool so wanna try it but without creating any problem on my A75 as now i dont wanna go to MMX Service Center so Aayushdutta or some one else please suggest me.
 

buddy.....You just need CWM recovery for flashing the Siverlight ROM. And you can directly do it with the ver.4!!! :)

plus, the risk of bricking can never be fully ascertained. But I doubt its that frequent.

Btw, even I am guessing bout the camera thing. The only defect with the ROM I found to be the GB stock locker :(

Buddy, I can see that you are on Stock. So if you wanna seriously ride it out and wait for my ICS ROM, then you must not waste data, time and also risk your phone (as no one can predict bricking) and remain on the stock. Or else if you are bored of Stock, then you have soo many options for other ROM's. Just try them out, things which I am doing are ofcourse pretty tough. I have to like code from scratch, so it will take time. Maybe 1 or 2 more weeks.... but afterall, it would be a LTS (Long Term Support Release) and bugfree.

Regarding features from Silverlight ROM, I'll see what I can take from it, but it's not guaranteed as my base is Stock. Still, as far as I know... Do NOT install ROM's which aren't compiled for YOUR PARTICULAR cellphone model as it's always a RISK!

Thanks Buddy i got it fine i can wait for some more time for your much awaiting ICS as i have tried all the ROMs on the forum which were for A75 but was not at all satisfied with any as some havent been enough smooth, some were lacking with some good features, some dint have good custumisation, some were just usual so i then got my phone updated from Service Center and had flashed it with the recovery and rooted it with superuser zip i havent flashed the unsecure boot.img also as it was not required and after rooting with Titanium Backup had removed all the unwanted apps and with link2sd had installed all the things what i needed and using the phone as i have deleted the stock launcher and installed the Sony's Xperia launcher so the phone is pretty much instant and fast responsive and i have removed all the apps which ask to update as the Google apps FB and many others and downloaded there updates and installed them and have integrated them into system so they also work very well.

Do you think i need to do anything else???

And haan as i mentioned that i am not satisfied with the ROMs it doesnt mean that the work what all DEVs are doing is wasted its just AMAZING and i cant express it in words its just that i am giving feedback for the things what needs to be improve so DEVs please dont take my words in a -ve sense and provied us some good stuff to play on and have fun.

And haan Aayush as i was asking you to provide the social and perfessional networking apps and all there apps what are needed by everyone in the ROM but Amarghy asked not to do so and suggested that you provide flashable zip for them so that also will be fine you can do that and i will be happy to flash them. But please include the flash plugin and flash player in your ROM as well as Host file which can block adds and also try to provied us some good keyboards in your ROM may be you can include some and we can have choice.

Hey Aayush one more thing as i have backup the stock ROM with CWM recovery so i have the latest update of A75 so may be if you need anything from it then let me know i will upload it

Well bro regarding the flash plugin and player, they are still pending my vigorous tests and are not at all stable... my emulator crashed running them. I can't just risk 9000 rupee cellphone's. Well yes, just name all social apps you want and i'll make a flashable zip for you... and yeah, keyboards too which you would like to have...

Thanks buddy for thinking on my request and you just be calm take your time and provide us the best ever ROM and will try to get you all the things what you need in working on it by the way as i have provided my phones details n my previous post what i have after i got my phone updated from service center i so check it if you need anything then let me know will upload it ok. ;)

4.Engineer Mode

Well, we can... But would the MOD's allow the links to download the ROM here? I don't think so... After all, It contains pirated software's!

Guys, any of you has an idea or a tutorial available to put ICS Style Lockscreen into the ROM? And good news, I think I have succeeded in changing the goddamn ugly looking Signal Bars for both SIM's...

Early help, leads to early build....
