Root ICS Source out!!!

Is it possible to build ICS on our phone? I'm kind of curious if we'll ever see it or not, because ICS looks amazing and is actually tempting me to switch to a new carrier/phone just to get it.
 
The biggest issue right now is that the kernel changes Samsung released is broken and not complete. If a full kernel can be built and functional then that means the full system should be buildable and operational. At that point it can be investigated for doing something like ICS. I have knowledge in figuring out how things work and such however PlayfulGod, Silvist, and K0nane didn't seem too interested in my help in figuring out what is different in the kernel.

Any and all help is welcomed. K0nane is the samsung kernel guy, I am more of the CM guy but I am no expert or guru.

From my experience with other phones, a custom kernel, isnt needed, nor is one from ICS or GB actually needed. The DX, Ascend, etc all used froyo kernels, actually the ascend is using a eclair kernel lol.

but as its been said b4, the Indulge is a rare beast lol.
