Help ICS Update Power Issues

Hi
I recently updated my Samsung S2 to ICS. It was working fine for couple of days. Now i am experiencing power off problems. When I try to switch on, there is a warning "Battery Critical connect to the charger" even though there is full charge. Some times when I connect to the charger there is an exclamatory mark over the battery icon. Kindly assist.
