Help ics update problem, plz read

phone wasnt working well so i wanted to install a newer version of ics. odin workes well and read pass but now the galaxy s2 startup screen just flashes on and off... it doesnt make to the little android screen where it keeps updating itself... anyone help me out, ive tried going back to my previous file but that didnt work either

3 questions...

1. What model of phone do you have, (Settings > About phone > Model number)?

2. Precisely, which firmware did you flash to it via Odin, (dial pad, enter... *#1234# and give the first 3 lines of information)?

3. Which firmware were you on before?

phone keeps rebooting now cant access anything but the odin mode.
box of phone shows gt-i9100m but phone was sold to me as gt-i9100
tried to flash ics version I9100DXLPB_I9100OLBLPA_STH\I9100DXLPB_I9100OLBLPA_I9100DXLPA
had recently updated to ics version
I9100MUGLD3_I9100MBMCLD3_I9100MXXLD3
didnt check to see if usb debugging wes checked or not before i updated today, it was last time but maybe the i9100m version took it off

used your info on another post iron and used h3g version that you had mentionned in that post and now got passed the boot screen and phone is updating...started up good ...tks for the help
keeps saying swype has stopped tho...anyway to fix that?

Right... so you have an, "M", variant SGSII, for Bell, Canada, that was on the latest, stock, firmware update.

You have now attempted to flash the latest firmware, DXLPB, for Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore, which has the DXLPA modem that I have found to be, "not very good", for Europe and the America's. See, here.

However, the firmware you mention, "shouldn't", cause the problems you describe even if it is one I would not recommend for your phone.

As you can get into Download mode, I would suggest flashing, via Odin, this firmware, LPG for NEE, (Nordic Countries), that other, "M", variant users have used successfully and is the latest, unbranded, firmware for the Northern Hemisphere.
