Help ICS update problem

hi i just got the firmware update over kies and while updating it got stuck at 68%....hy stuck i didnot mean the comp hanging just tht the application progress bar did not move after 68%
i left it like that fr a couple of hours and still there was no change but i found tht the ics was now installed on the phone while the percentage completed was 68%.
in the end i disconected the phone and found ics to be installed and working with no apparent problems...also my messages and contacts and stuff were not erased and was still present.
im just wondrring if it installed properly and tht if it didnot is there anyway to reinstall ics
btw kies says my firmware is uptodate

I think it is unlikely to be the case that you have a partially install ICS since the update is first saved completely on the phone and then the phone takes care of the installation. Seems like kies just lost contact with the phone somehow (I am told that kies kind of sucks).
