Root ICSCUP [roms]

I downloaded, and installed the ICSCUP4v2 (The nice JellyBean / S3 Looking ROM) without a hitch. Downloaded the Google Now .zip and installed through CWM from my Ext-SD. But, There's no Google Now available when I reboot the phone. How do I fix the issue?

The rom have google now install now try to take some app from system/app but check how much space you have then delete some app the one you think you can get back from google play

Google now replaces quick search. Try to do a srarch with google and you'll see the difference

Just a question, are these cdma or gsm? i know with my htc that was a huge thing people forgot to mention so i dont want to run into that issue with this phone

First off you want to install cwm for our device. Then download the rom to your sd card. Turn your phone off. Then boot into recovery by holding the volume up button and the power button at the same time until cwm recovery menu shows up. Press wipe data/factory. Then press install zip from sd card. Then press choose zip from external sd card. Then find the rom that you downloaded. Install and then press reboot device. I think that about covers it.

Pardon me, I am used to working with my htc phone when flashing roms and such but with this do i need to wipe delvik cache factory and all the usuals? also am i going to need to flash a gapps package before rebooting the system? if so would it be a 4.0 ics gapps?

This is so sesame I am on awe of you guys that built these roms. Thank you so much I didn't even know what root was up u until a month ago and now I know How to flash a custom ROM lol! Fascia it the best thank you for walking me thru the steps. I've gotta try your other ones now :p:D:)

i flashed ICSCUPV2 without a problem. although this ROM seems solid so far, i'm having an issue with Google Now... it never speaks any results. when i ask it something like, "What's the temperature?" the woman's voice is supposed to reply, "In [your city], it is currently 75 degrees," or something very similar to that.

i've tried everything (short of reflashing the whole ROM) that i've been able to find in many forums as far as checking/changing settings, clearing data, rebooting, etc. to get Google Now to speak, but nothing seems to work... is the version of Google Now included in this ROM not supposed to speak or did i do something wrong?

anyone else experiencing this issue?

Its a modified version to work on ICS.

Not sure if anyone is paying attention to this thread still or not...I was pleased to find some roms for the ZTE Avid finally. I particularly like number 2. I'm using titanium backup to install my apps back after flashing and I can't get google services back on, Titanium just freezes. I also can't download form the app store. Hmmm...
