anyone got any info on idroid? a buddy of mine got it to work on his 1st gen ipod touch, but apparantly it only works on that gen... im just lookin for some threads on this subject and didnt see any. Any ideas fellow forumites? please and thank you LoL

Let me google that for you

I understand if you are using an iOS device you may have a hard time with the internet but you have an EVO so you can't be that challenged.

Jerk LoL jk yeah ive googled it before and ive found the idroid for gen1, but cant seem to find anything about the other gens.... im asking in here cuz it seems that many devs are crawling around this place and not all releases of ipod hax are google-able as mr jobs is all about sueing people for stupid stuff like hacking their code... anyways, yes i have an EVO, and im on my 16th rom, and am comfortable enough to try out some root methods for the ios, but am just looking for methods that others have employed successfully... and my only ios powered devices are merely toys, ive acquired several ipods over the years and actually do like them for music purposes only, otherwise they suck, in my humble opinion lol

I haven't heard about it here before. XDA may have some info on it. It doesn't seem like too many people are into it, there is quite a divide between iOS fanboys and Android fans.

iDroid kinda comes up from time to time.

Follow the wiki from this earlier post -

What you want, you can't have - the iDroid working on the iP4 - it's just not ready yet.

To follow progress on that: Main Page - iDroidWiki

Some people say it's working, but if you dig into it, they're really at alpha and not just there for the iP4.

I did find one alternative that claims full success with the iP4 - warning the following website is obnoxious and invasive and this claimed solution is like 30 bucks.

Because of the shill-like website, I'd _REALLY_ recommend checking into these guys before giving them any nickels. That said, here it is (turn down your speaker before clicking):

Android on iPhone - Install Google Droid software on ANY iPhone!

Do not follow the last link - consensus was it's bogus.
