will it also delete all the any backups that I've made. I want to delete my backups btw.

It will erase anything on your phone, but anything on your SD card will have to be erased manually... (which I'd guess the backups would be there...)

Agreed. It won't touch anything on the sdcard. Clockworkmod backups are in the Clockworkmod folder under "Backup" on the sdcard and Titanium Backups can be found in the TitaniumBackup folder on the sdcard as well.
