if I install another launcher on my GS4 (like Nova) will I lose all air gesture features and other new features that samsung installed?

No. About all you get from installing Nova is gain. All the Samsung goodies (and all the Samsung bloat) remain. I went from stock to Go (when it came out) to Nova. It's going to take a lot to get me to use something else.

+1 for Nova Launcher. Works great and keeps all the features from Samsung.
