I have Missing Sync for android which works well for syncing calendar, notes, video, and audio- but music (but not playlist) were syncing over. It has something to do with the internal memory because it worked fine on my android phone without internal extra memory- but not on the droid I tried with extra memory. If you use doubletwist- you lose the ability to play them with the stock music player- that I happen to enjoy having the 5.1 surround mode and works with album art grabber programs.
From searching around, I found a program that works-"iSyncr for Mac"- in the market.
All 85 something playlist are present and accounted for, and the program "Album art grabber" fills in the missing blanks of cover art.
WHAT a great music player this is. The stereo speakers are better than any on a "phone"- including the old Blackberry Bold 9000, my favorite to date.
