If you don't have swype turned on, i suggest you atleast try it.

Swype is great! ...

For the naysayers out there. Give Swype an honest try.. use it for a week. if you don't like it, then fine. I bet you'll end up liking it more than you thought.

Unless one can't spell or is unfamiliar with a QWERTY keyboard, then forget about it. ;-)

yeah... there is that.. I reminded my youngest son that he needs to learn to spell, not only to use swype, but to be able to communicate with people and not have them think he an idiot. sadly, he's almost 18...

Remember a lot of naysayer are close minded and set on a path to detour them from that path or show them a shortcut may result in self destruction. People hate what they don't understand and fear what they can't concur.

while this may be true for a lot of them, anyone that has embraced the android system has to be at least a little open minded and a little is all that is needed.

I started using shapewriter on my Hero...QUOTE]

If you liked Shapewriter, you'll LOVE Flex T9 from Nuance (the company that bought up Shapewriter in the first place). I think it is faster than swype, or at least it is on my Droid running the beta version. I'll be picking up the Epic tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it compares...
