Root If you flashed Cm7.2.

If you Flashed cm7.2 for the admire, what previous rom were you on 2.3.4 or 2.3.6. and what bugs have you ran into?

I was on 2.3.4 and the bugs are market glitch, data glitch (although it works, sometimes it takes a break)

mms still now working.


PS: if you dont know if you was on 2.3.4 or 2.3.6. Logically chances are you was on 2.3.4.
 
Market works for me, Idk about data because i have it as a back up phone because im using the esteem. Camera also doesnt work, only takes video. flashed from 2.3.4
 
Um well everyone has it, the roaming glitch..can't watch Videos HQ on youtube/ or videos on SDCard, since they always freeze up, like a still image.aaaaaaaand Signal Indicator. Says i have 2 Bars when i live 2 blocks away from a tower. taking Still pIctures without it freezing/ turning the screen white/blueish for no reason. And MMS. Thats all

hows the esteem. i was gonna buy it, but since cm7.2 thanks 2 Req. my admire has been spared from being replaced. gonna wait till a price drop for the esteem.
 
the esteem is pretty good. it puts my friends HTCs and Galaxys to shame. I've had it for about 2 months now and its never givin me any major issues. Also remember that this ROM is in beta form thats why there are glitches but im sure that they are being worked on and everything will work fine.
 
Everything seems to work for me besides mms, GPS. I havent tried taking a picture yet but when i opened the camera it looked fine? Sometimes i get force closes but its very rare. I had monster4.
 
i have not noticed if gps was working or not, i dont need it, i know how to get around in my city. the only thing i used gps for was to check in at facebook. but thats something i can live without.

in my opinion, cant really compare the admire with the esteem. after i got my esteem, i couldn't even think if going back to an admire. And the prices on both phone is a huge difference. Im not saying its not a good phone, its great. N over at the esteem community playfulgod is currently working on a cm7 n cm9.
 
I Installed CM7 from 2.3.4 (Stock).

*The Only good Improvement is the 3G Comes on quick and stays on! :DD

1. Had to "Factory Wipe/Reset" my Device b/c It wouldn't get pass the A N D R O I D screen.
2. Digital Roaming Appears once the OS Appears.
3. Unable to Mount /System and /Cache in the new Recovery.
4. In order for me to go back to Stock I had to Install the Offical 2.3.6. Using ODIN and Old Recovery to Mount /System and /Cache.
5. Downloading Errors on the Market
6. Unable to take pictures (this made me downgrade) + Camera Button Not Working.
7. Not Smooth Enough
8. "Waiting Force Closes" Appear more than Stock.

It's a beta, and yeah They are fixing it so :p
