If you were me...

I've been pondering grabbing the SGS4 for a couple weeks now. My Rezound is just too slow these days and I've had for just about 2 years. It's time for an upgrade. So I decided on the S4 mainly because wireless tethering without root. I even tested it out at a retail location on the demo phone. My other big point was able to swap out a different battery and removable storage. Since the recent 4.3 update horror stories, I'm wondering if I should hold off. The S5 is supposed to be out in Feb... If you were me, what would you do?

thanks!

I've been running the 4.3 Update for a couple days now with no issues at all. I say go for the S4. It's a great phone.

You're going to see some complaints and issues with any new update on any system. I really like the 4.3 update. It's made me happier with the phone. It's better now than when I bought it, although part of that is perhaps due to other programs (e.g. making more programs compatible with multi-screen).

If you want a removable battery and microSD, there is no better choice out there.

My main dissatisfaction is with the new version of Google Maps, and you'll have that with virtually any phone now.

I moved from the Rezound to the S4 and I am very happy with the choice. I was really torn between the htc One and the S4 but the lack of expandable memory, non-replaceable battery and no dedicated menu button on the One sealed the deal for me. Didn't like the fact that blink feed couldn't be removed either.
