Root if your pc is apple expect probs with android think about it

android and apple do not play well together why would they pic the tech you like but look into it. i hate apple because i like open source if you want a happy fam keep your tech in one fam.do not think all tech plays nice with one another that would be asinine they all wish to make money think about it.
 
As Mac OS X is unix based, and Android is unix based, I have thought about it and I find that the two have worked very well for me for years.

Some brands or models, that's not true. Otherwise, it pretty much works better than Windows beginning with no need for usb drivers.

So, other than ranting Apple hate, is there a point to this thread?
 
"why would they pic the tech you like but look into it." If what your saying is apple try to make them incompatible on purpose there is no sensible reason they would do that especially R&D resources, but sometimes I cant get it to work on Win7 properly I have to unplug it like 5x for it to install the drivers properly

ranting Apple hate was not and is not the point. apple is not open source. my or anyone's opinion was not the point at all.apple does not use alot of 3rd party anything nor does want its users to go that wrought. this is not my opinion this is the way it is.my point is you cant use apple for alot of android needs.writing to android is almost always done with win or Linux mostly with Linux. apple is not the way to go but that is my opinion.i don't just not like the OS i don't like how they treat there employees but again that is just my opinion.

apple try to make them incompatible on purpose. No apple does make them incompatible on purpose.Apple needs the 3rd party to make 3rd part everything to be approved on way more levels or the have gotten rid of many app and software and even sued. then went and stole the ideas from said 3rd party and used those ideas them selves.

I like ICS. tbh, with a good enough phone, you don't really need a computer.

since I bought this phone, I haven't been on my pc anywhere near as much as I was before. I can surf faster with the 4g and pretty much do everything I need to on here. Why argue which OS is better when clearly Android is? (that was a joke, but I'm sure a standalone android os on a desktop or laptop would work great) If you are content with what you have, don't bash others for their preferences.

EDIT: as far as apple v microsoft... I would never buy an apple. the benefits do not equate to the cost. (benefits as to music production, which I do on my pc) on the other hand, I would never upgrade to windows 8. for the same reasons i don't like ios or apple os in general, win8 is less personalized and limited. both os have their advantages and disadvantages. ...but for me, it comes down to price/performance.

I'm more of a PC guy myself but I loved those commercials. They were very entertaining, funny, and sometimes true.

I used to jump on the Apple bashing bandwagon and rant with the best of them. Windows Vista slowed my ranting down to a stumble, then Windows 8 crashed my ranting days into the wall.

Whatever OS works best for you then stick with it. If it wasn't for games that I like to play on Windows I would be using some version of Linux.
 
I still don't understand the point of this thread in any device forum.

Mac, Win or Linux, something won't work with some Android. I use all three, I am quite certain of that.

As pointed out, Apple and MS have a lot of evil going on. Always have. As for open source, MS holds some Linux patents, every Android phone included paying a royalty to them.

If anyone has a problem with the lock, drop me a line.
