Im new on here. I need some help. So I downloaded go launcher x on my huawei ascend last night, now I cant check my vm's. Also I can't find z4root on the market, how should I go about rooting my huawei?

Some users don't read the intro section, but would hopefully be able to help you solve the problem. There's also a subforum called "all things root" which explains how to root your phone and is there for any questions or help you may need. Sorry, I don't have the same phone as you, and don't use go launcher x either, so I'm not gonna be much help, but I'm sure someone here can

Try uninstalling Go Launcher to see if that again allows you to check your VM. Sometimes apps will have unforseen issues with these phones. When this happens you've just got to move on to the next similar app.

As for Z4Root, you'll likely not see it in the market. This is the type of app that typically has to be side-loaded onto the phone. It falls in a grey area that Google and the wireless carriers would prefer we not venture into. As such they don't typically offer too many root apps in the market. Do a google search and you'll find Z4Root...

You have to download launched pro and look for the z4root Apk. online.

I've used go launcher without any problems. So far it's my favorite.

im using wave launcher, and this works on top of you current luancher.
