Wasssup everyone, i just got my Droid a couple days ago. A friend at work has one and i thought it was awesome! This thing has it all.....i'm just learning so don't be too hard on me ...hahaha!

i see alot of posting about Wigets.......i assume its like an app? i am sure i will have many many questions, and also sure you all have the answers.

a widget is like a mini app that runs right on the home screen like the Google search bar that was there when you pulled the Droid out of the box.

Can someone tell me how to set the Droid to vibrate when I receive a notification instead of a ringtone? I dont like me phone to ring, so I leave it on vibrate most of the time and want it vibrate when I get a text.
 
I've only been here for a few days, but i have to say that some of the screen shots i see from you guys are awesome. i see tons and tons of apps, wigets that interest me.
Lots of questions....like how do you guys have so many pages of apps? i assume there is an app/wiget for that like there is for everything...hahaha.
