Help Im about ready to toss this thing

It reboots constantly. It won't play a single flash vid - application error - wait or terminate. It does not lay out pages correctly and for the last two weeks its gotten certificate errors on just about everypage (even ones that don't have any SSL URLs). Will loading CWM and reflashing fix these or is this thing ready for the trash?

I would try a new ROM all together. Vegan (5.1.1 or Ginger) and Cyanogen7 seem to be the consensus favorites around here.

Yeah, stock is pretty unstable. You'll see the light when you load up a custom rom.

Reflashed with vegan over the weekend and its perfect now. Good access to apps - no unexplained restarts, no certif errors, perfect flash playback. This is the way this machine should have been delivered.

I hate to be such a dummy but I don't understand how everyone is "flashing with vegan" and installing Clockworkmod. I tried to install Clockworkmod and now my tablet won't even start. I think I'm going to cry! Can anyone help me?

Does it power on but gets stuck in a bootloop? Like do you see the viewsonic birds?

Keep holding the vol + for loooonnnggger than you would expect. Should see two lines of text in the upper left screen.
