I'm an Authorized User, but...

I'm not 18 yet (18th birthday is Wednesday). My parents called 611 today to set me up as Authorized so I could get the phone on my birthday while they were gone. But then the guy said I would have to wait until Wednesday to get it.

Is that true? Even being Authorized, I still have to be 18?

According to California Law:

A contract is void if one of the participants is a minor.


That being said..I almost never check the persons age (unless they are like 10 years old lol)
and I do not an employee would really check either.


that also means if you get away with it, the contract you sign is void, meaning they cant enforce the 2 year commitment.

Yeah :/ thought so. I was hoping to join you guys Sunday morning. Oh well, maybe I can read some more reviews from you guys, watch MWC coverage, and let the info on the 4G plans develop (I too have grandfathered unlimited)
