IM App issues

I can't get either Meebo or eBuddy to connect with my facebook accounts to use chat.

What could be causing this? I have tried my username and passwords several times on both so its definitely not that.

Could the HTC/Android facebook apps be blocking me from signing in with the IM app?

problem solved.

After logging into facebook on my pc, it seems my account was accessed somewhere facebook didn't recognise as being normal (America apparently), so asked me to choose a new password.

Once I did this I was able to sign in to chat fine on Meebo.

Could this unrecognised access have been from the apps attempting to access their servers?
