IM App

I'm wondering what you guys use for IMing that combines AIM/Yahoo/etc.

I've tried Nimbuzz and Parlingo - but they both constantly log me off no matter how strong my 3G connection is.

Thanks!

I use Trillian. It isn't a free app though. I've been a Trillian (desktop version) user for a long time though, so I was able to get the Android app for free. It works well for pretty much all of the major IM services. There are of course free messenger clients you can look into, but I'm not familiar with any of them.

I've used Trillian before... hmm, how did you get the android version free by having it?

I've been alpha/beta testing with them for the past 6 years or so. It was sort of a "thanks for putting up with all the bugs for so many years" thing. It was also Amazon's free app of the day about a month ago, but I doubt we'll see that happen again any time soon.

The marketplace's 15 trial window probably isn't nearly enough time to try it out, but you could check what Amazon's app return policy is. They might give you enough time to get it set up and see if you like it.
