im developing a unique souls-bourne like game on android, and i hope you will join the ride :)

Hello everybody,

ive been developing a unique souls-bourne like game for the past 3 months,
and now its in testable stage, i wish you will try it and tell me what you think by contacting dark.born.feedback@gmail.com
The game still in its very early stage,
i released a closed alfa version on google play.

# to download the game:
1- join the google group
https://groups.google.com/g/darkborntesters ,
and make sure that you joined the group with the same google account on your google play app.
(this step is required to able to approach the store page).
2- download the game from

# The Goal:
my goal is to build a unique souls-bourne like game, with a story, characters to collect, skills to unlock, weapons to find, and monsters and bosses to slay.

# Current state:
the budget for the game is low at the moment,
so i created a 2-floor test vesion of the game, just to test the mechanics of the game and hopefully raise funds for the complete game.

# Quality:
the game has 3 quality presets, that helps with low end devices.
i have a 150$ Huawei phone with Android 8 on it,
and fps is ~40 on lowest settings and ~10 on highest settings.
I wonder if there is a device that would perform 60fps on highest settings.

# Gameplay Hints:
- u can lock on target by double clicking on the monster.
- u can choose ur own skill bindings for every button, in skills menu, by pressing blue button.

the game is in closed alfa,
so people should join the authorized google group to be able to download the game

have u tried joining the google group?
Welcome to Android Forums @SaudAlomari. :) I wanted to create a channel for your app, but I can't really help test it so I didn't want to join the testing group. You can create your own subforum for the app by using these (https://androidforums.com/threads/d...ps-on-androidforums-com.1319750/#post-8014612) quick instructions. Anyone testing the app can do it, even @mikedt, so long as they can see the app in Play. Once someone clicks that "Discuss" button I'll move this thread into the channel. Thanks. :)

All set and good luck with the testing. If you want, it is OK for your testers to post feedback in the channel. You may get a more collaborative feedback. :)

thank u so much for ur reply and trying to contact the mods for me, much appreciated :)

Here is video of the gameplay, its low quality video because of my phone sorry
Game's right-side control is hard to play.
You should reduce the methods of control or use skill. Ex: auto hide the button when skill is not ready.
How gamer can rotate when he busy in combat with ABXY button.

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.
hide button when skill is not ready is a good idea, ill definitely put it on to do list.

in general, ui is a prototype, there will be many changes to it in the future.

for now, my top to do list tasks, that will be in the update next week or so,
- add a button to lock on enemies, in addition of being able to double click on them.
- add a button to interact with objects.
- add some bindings for controllers.
and hopefully more.

I think you can learn the control concept from some combat 5v5 game, I see the skill system and move of those game very complex but control idea is pretty good hhh
