i'm finally getting one

so after talking to at&t on the phone they aid they could offer me a secured price of 177 to upgrade early. i said will that price be honored at my local at&t store?.. they said yes. so i go to my local at&t store, talk to the manager and she said "NO" we can offer that because it for phone orders only( i even saw the screen on her computer that said the offer was good thru any type of purchasing methods)....i said look ma'am i used at&t for 5 years now i have two smartphone, cell for our oldest kid, two more kids that will be needing phones in the next 3 years, also my internet, land line and even my digital cable is though AT&T...the answer i got was still "I'm sorry i cant give you a early upgrade ,you will have to pay the early upgrade fee of $200"............

at this point i was pretty upset, i left and headed home. i called customer service, i told them what happened and within 10 minutes i was being shipped a brand new inspire for only 49.99

SWEET :p:p:p:p

Wow thats great, me and my husband paid $100.00 for two phones with the trade in of a samsung captivate which was a pretty sweet deal. I hope you enjoy your new phone.

I hope you love it! I have a connection at an ATT store, and I was allowed to upgrade 6 months early, without an early activation fee, and got mine for $99 plus tax.. Even at that price, I'm happy with it. I have only had mine a few days, but I LOVE this phone!

Let us know about your battery life. this is the main reason I took mine back.

But I might be "INSPIRED" to buy another one if I see the battery issues get better.

I hope you like the inspire! I am exchanging my atrix for the inspire this afternoon.

You know, I've seen posts on this forum and others, by people returning their Atrix for the Inspire. I'm curious as to the reasons why - most seem to deal with Motoblur and to a lesser degree the smaller screen size on the Atrix. I own an Inspire and have no interest in getting an Atrix, thinking that I got it right the FIRST time. :)
