Root I'm gettin aggravated!!!!

Sorry I'm such a noob! I've been trying for days to dl recovery.img from mediafire with no luck. Finally today I got it downloaded but it says recovery.txt, so I downloaded it again and got vm670nh-recovery-1.txt.
Somebody please tell me this will work, I just wanna give up!

Rename it to recovery.img

Are you using Internet explorer? I recall this happening back on IE5, it required a clearing of the cache and then it would download file correctly.

And before renaming the file and using it I would verify the MD5 to ensure it isn't corrupt.

Don't have a pc, I'm using the stock browser on my phone. The guy who fixed my phone last time I bricked said I got a bad dl!?

Phone browsers sometimes rename img files to txt files to keeps accidents from happening

You really shouldn't be downloading with a phone, there's lots of times it screws up and then you'll be in fastboot, you NEED some type of PC to get out of that.
